St John's Tottington Free Church of England

A warm welcome to the website of St John’s Church, Tottington. We are a church within the Northern Diocese of the Free Church of England

St John’s is a Church with a rich history and with a vision for the future.

Our purpose is to proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ, and to live and worship according to the teachings of the Bible. We believe that the Christian message is as relevant in the 21st century as it was in the 1st century.

For over 150 years St John’s has maintained its witness and played a full part in the life of the community at Tottington. It even owns a cricket field! In recent years the Church building has suffered a severe infestation of dry rot. It is currently being restored with financial assistance from English Heritage and in partnership with The Friends of St John's Tottington. We see this as a great opportunity to adapt our building so that it will continue to be a centre for sharing the Gospel, for joyful worship and for community use – a place where people may come and find the help that only Christ can give.

During the building work service times may vary, so please check the Calendar on this website for the dates and times.

Please come and join us. You are assured of a warm welcome.
